The temporary traffic lights on Nosworthy Way in Wallingford are causing significant rush hour delays. There is gridlock around the Wallingford by-pass all stemming from queues caused by the lights. Why can’t some common sense be used and the road works started after 09:30 and completed by 16:00 and the lights removed in the evening to prevent the congestion and let people get to and from work and school? This level of idling traffic will push up local pollution levels.
