Severe damage to kerb stones caused by roadworks
Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 14:58, Tuesday 1 October 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later
2. There are some roadworks outside 120 Woodstock Road and these have been coned off, making it impossible for vans and lorries to get by. The result of this is that the kerb has been destroyed. Please ensure, whoever these repairs belong to, the kerb is re-laid/ repaired. It is bad enough along here already with the mess created by lorries driving across the central reservation on a daily basis. We have to live and work here, this should not be allowed as we are all paying our council tax. The layby is used by enormous lorries that keep their engines running when they have cold storage. It has created a mess, noise and makes it very unsafe, especially as this road is part of the cycle route!!
