Redundant OCC Street Lights have been removed for new development but the supply cable is still live and needs to be made safe.

Thank you for the information. Our inspector is going to have a look and check where this is precisely and then we will make sure the developer is aware if it is related to their works along that stretch of Sutton Courtenay Lane

I have just spoken to the developer and this is in the old access road within the private land. Hence we have no powers as Highway Authority to carry out any works here. The developer is following this up with the relevant contractors who installed the new lighting and who need to make safe the disused cabling as part of this.
