Old unused road sign laying on verge on B430

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 13:58, Tue 24 September 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later

Old road sign (a new one has been erected already) is laying redundant in the verge, hidden in the undergrowth and has been for at least 6 months. On opposite side of road to Newby Cottage (down road from new sign seen in photo). Dangerous when come to cut the verge and unsightly when overgrowth dies back in winter. This has been reported before but not been removed. I would pull it out onto pavement so you can find it but not safe for cyclists/walkers. Many thanks

  • Hi

Now the verge and hedge have been cut back the sign is now more visible. I have attached more photos to show it leaned up against the hedge. The post is still more buried in the undergrowth. Many thanks
