Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council 5 minutes later
I am referring to the junction on Chinnor Hill - approximate postcode OX39 4BG.
Traffic coming down Chinnor Hill (marked with a blue arrow) to the T junction with Chinnor Hill approach a Give Way sign, where there is no view out on to main road to the right. I have countless times seen cars fail to stop at this junction and cause the traffic coming up the main Chinnor Hill to swerve to avoid a collision. Surely there should be a STOP sign at a junction such as this?
The volume of traffic around Chinnor is now greatly increased and it is only a matter of time before an accident happens here.

Thank you for your report. We have investigated this and we have found that the current 'Give Way' system is adequate for the road. In order to install a new 'STOP' sign the visibility has to be so restricted that it is essential for drivers to stop before entering the major road. This does not include obstructions like vegetation.
