As Chairman of the Parish Council I travelled this road yesterday and the cracks are very deep and long and exactly the same as they were some two years ago. At that time after much deliberation and delays, the road was eventually repaired using the Dragon Patcher. As predicted by some, it has not worked and a different solution is required in order to make a more lasting repair. As the Parish Council we intend to monitor this closely and respectfully request that this matter is fast-tracked with a full and proper repair. John Honsinger

I am a resident on this road, Lisa Collins, I have reported this stretch of rd, so many times and each time the "fix" has been a joke. The Dragon Patcher at the time, I witnessed men shoving tarmac with thick gloves on down the crevices before the patcher was used. The road is subsiding, it needs underpinning! This road is used by 2/3 cycling clubs, it is used by motoring clubs from Bicester Heritage, it is used by horses & joggers let along traffic. When there is an accident on the main A4422 between Fringford and Shelswell Arms P.H the traffic gets diverted down this road. I had to spend 3hrs directing traffic last Winter to prevent Lorries getting trapped in the grass verges. I was 1st on the scene of a horrific accident 8yrs ago where a young lad's cycle wheel went down a crevice and the handlebar impaled his inner thigh narrowly missing his a)testicle b)his Femoral artery. I have watched in despair as your inspectors drive down this road, never stopping, never getting out of the vehicle, how on Earth they can make a judgement from that inspection I have no idea. If this road can't be fixed due to lack of funds, then for safety sake make it access only and a 15mph speed limit all the way. Solutions are better than ignoring this.
