Street light shining directly into the rear of property due to tree removal

Due to tree removal in the garden of a neighboroughing property, the number 1 street light from Cotmore Close outside number 27A shines directly into my bedroom keeping my family awake at night can this be shielded

  • Yes it can be shielded - please buy a black out blind! The lights are there to light up the road and street. What is safer, a correctly lit street with you having blinds or a dark street? What do you think that everyone else does?

  • Many thanks for the report, unfortunately due to the location it may be tricky to shikled from that distance as we need to ensure the highway is lit to the correct standard, i will however ask an inspector to chekc it over for you and see if there is anything we can do
