Hedge to high for safe crossing

This has been raised a number of times over the last few years and despite the hedge being reduced in height each time, it is still unsafe. It completely blocks the view for left turning cars from Radley Road to Twelve Acre Drive of cyclists or pedestrians crossing at the crossing point. It also blocks the view for those crossing at this point, of any cars approaching from Radley Road (who are looking right to enter the roundabout). It is unsafe as many have pointed out. Please can the hedge be removed before someone is hurt?

Another near miss witnessed today. The bike in front of me pull safely onto the roundabout. A car coming from Twelve Acre Drive pull out without seeing the bike. Because it was raining the bike was unable to stop. Thankfully the car pulled an emergency stop and the bike was able to go round the front of the car. I wouldn't have said anyone was cycling / driving dangerously, the car just didn't see the lady on her bike in time. Please cut this hedge down before someone is seriously injured.

In the past week, I have seen (one of them involving me) two more near misses (cars pulling out in front of cyclists crossing the roundabout and them having to take avoiding action). The one this morning was a Renault Scenic, and so not a low car. The driver acknowledged he didn't see me and apologised. Will it be after someone gets injured that something is done about this dangerous hedge?
