10 Street light not working STILL!!!!!!!

Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 11:15, Wednesday 4 September 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later

This issue has been reported to the council a number of time from as far back as early 2018.

10 street lights from Queens Close to the Sports/Leisure Centre down Majors Road are not working.

Many residents have raised this with the council only to be fobbed off or told incorrect information. These street lights are and have been according to the housing developer Hills of swindon down to the local council to address and fix. This is also supported by the Councils stickers (pictured) on each of the faulty lamps advising to report any issues.

With these street lights out it is not safe to walk down this road bacuse of the poor lighting, pitch black areas, narrow paths and speeding vehicles.

Given the many many times this has been reported, the danger to residents and frankly the tax band for the area the council has a responsibility to resolve this issue or does there have to be a potentially fatial accident for action to be taken??

Pictures have been provided again.
