Your contractors only filled one hole today and it was the wrong one. The photos above show them leaving the site having repaired one in the centre of the road which incidentally re-appears every year. They apologised to me but said they are powerless to fix more than that specified as they wont get paid. OCC is wasting money by not allowing for a bit of flexibility. This team came to the village to fill one hole, and ignored the other adjacent ones. Pots holes have been reported and not fixed on two other roads in Stratton Audley and it seems to me to be bad planning that this is allowed to happen. I shall be taking the matter up with Ian Corkin. John Honsinger

These pot holes have still not been filled and one in particular (the one that should have been filled several weeks ago but in error was not) has large dislodged stones that are being thrown out onto the pavement and the rest of the road.

There are several potholes at this location that have not been dealt with and are getting worse. Paul Wilson agreed that these would be strip/patched altogether rather than filling individual holes which as a result just cause another weakness to be exposed beside the repaired hole. The weather has been mild and so I see no reason why this area has not been marked up for repair and fixed.

Guys, These pot holes have been reported previously and the one in the middle of the road even marked up in the early part of February but no further action taken. Back in October Paul Wilson viewed these and agreed that they would be patched rather than individually filled. I suspect that because it was seen as part of other larger repairs in the village the work has not been done. However the hole in the centre marked up as no 1 is now dangerously deep. But when you come to do this, PLEASE also patch the other ones closer into the curb, as water is always being splashed onto my door step from passing vehicles hitting the puddles. I appreciate you have a never ending task and I thank you in advance for taking all this on board. John Honsinger
