9 inch potholes down Sandy Lane

Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 12:26, Friday 30 August 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

These potholes have been down Sandy Lane for a long time, this has now happened to me twice. These potholes are around 9inches deep and have not only punctured my tyre but have also cracked my alloy wheel. I'd like some compensation please and for the potholes to be filled in. thanks

  • The exact location of location of the potholes in the photographs is between "Barcote Barn" (In Barcote Lane) and "The Hideaway" (In Sandy Lane). The potholes are in the carriageway next to the electricity substation (On the left if travelling to the A420 or the right if coming from the A420). Please see this report [Unfortunately, that report appears only a few Months old, but I had to Re-Post it because it had been left for so long] But it is evidence enough that that OCC MUST pay for the damage to your car (Highways Act 1980) AND will block their usual Defence at section 59. https://www.fixmystreet.com/ report/ 1639797
