Illegal use of soon to grassed area as a short cut at The old Mill Lane Junction

There are a small number of drivers using the recently laid footpath and to be grassed verge at the recently closed Mill Lane Junction as a short cut.

One bollards has been damaged already.

This is a safety hazard to other road users, pedestrians and particularly children.

Additional bollards, possibly of steel, are needed to resolve this issue.

  • Thanks for your report. I have taken this report on board as the responsile engineer and liaising with the Developer and the site Engineer to get this resolved. Again thanks for letting us know about this unsafe behaviours of some drivers that use Mill Lane.
