  • Hi, At the weekend there was an accident on A4142 at the Risghurst turning. The traffic lights and pedestrian crossing were damaged and put out of action by the accident. In response to the accident, only a few traffic cones were erected to stop cars turning right when coming out of the Risighurst turn. There doesn't seem to be any restrictions on speed. The current state of the road is a death trap for pedestrians and cyclists, as no provision has been made for their safe passge. It is now 4 days since the accident has occured, and nothing has been done to repair the damage. Tomorrow I will be contacting the Oxford Mail and BBC Oxford to complain about the lack of action from the County Council about this issue. I fear somebody will be killed or badly injured shortly because of the inaction. A very concerned resident
