Double yellow line required to stop illegal parking
Reported in the Road Markings category anonymously at 10:15, Fri 23 August 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 6 minutes later
Cars illegally parking on lowered kerb (between 15 & 17 Ruscote Ave) blocking access in & out of a private driveway. When parked too wide it obstructs off-street parking for residents of 17 Ruscote avenue and as a chain reaction it goes up the road which is causing subsequence blocking of private driveways up the street.

Thank you for your enquiry - unfortunately the process required to draft and consult on a traffic order to facilitate yellow lines is lengthy and very expensive and there is always a possibility that the proposal may be turned down at consultation. An alternative would be to apply for access protection markings to deter obstruction of a private driveway - details are here: https://www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/ residents/ roads-and-transport/ street-maintenance-z/ private-access-markings
