Gully drains in high Cross way blocked/broken missing grates, these have been previously reported and for some unknown reason instead of cleaning the gully drains they decided to tarmac over the gully drain.

Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

Gully drains installed to take free running rain water from gardens on Bernwood Road. These gully drains have become blocked, the drains need emptying. The gully drains also have some grates missing therefore will become a trip hazard. This problem has been previously reported but instead of cleaning the gully drains and replacing the broken grates someone decided to tarmac over the drain. These drains were installed to take the free running rain water from the gardens in Bernwood Road these drains need maintaining.

  • Kids are now playing and digging out the gully drains with a shovel this will cause a trip hazard and requires immediate attention before someone is hurt. Have advised the kids to leave to leave alone
