Speed limit sign required, due to high speed of vehicles, concerned as it is near the primary school. Outside N18 Banbury Road.

  • Thank you for your report. Unfortunately it is not permitted to erect repeater signs where the speed limit is 30mph and there is street lighting in place. However, Oxfordshire Highways could provide free 'Speedwatch' signs at the request of your parish council that can be placed on existing columns or posts as a reminder to motorists to moderate their speed.
