Dangerous Uneven path,

Reported in the Pavements category anonymously at 16:55, Thursday 15 August 2019

Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council 6 minutes later

Walking down st aldates between chirst church and chch medow i stood between two slabs that are uneven, almost twisting my ankle.

Other areas nearby are in speedwell street and Pembroke sq.

PLEASE stop using paving slabs and just use tarmac. It is becoming dangerous to walk in Oxford for uneven pavements causing trip and ankle hazards

  • The problem has not been fixed. it looks like it was never looked at.

There are parts of the path that are still cracked and uneven posing a trip hazard, or a hazard that can cause injury to someone's ankle

This cannot be solved by a 5 min cheap botch job. as i said in my original report, paving slabs are NOT suitable for a pavement with 1000's of people walking on it everyday, it needs to be tarmacked.

Also was the workmen using cloaking devices? I work near the area and not once i saw anyone work on the path, nor did i see any cones or evidence of work taken place.

Do the Job properly that's what we are paying taxes for
