Ash tree

Reported in the Trees category anonymously at 15:26, Wednesday 14 August 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

By the gate of the property (the one with the swimming pole, immediately before Wuthering heights), there's an ash tree right where the fence is. MOP needs to establish if OCC is the responsable for tree or the MOP herself (house owner) and if there's a risk of subsidence because of the tree.

  • We have visited site and assessed the trees in their location. The overhanging trees present are on land maintainable by an adjacent landowner and not by the County Council. You can access the land registry at: search-property-information-land-registry at a cost of £7 to find details of the adjacent landowner to peruse your enquiry. You are also within your common law rights as a landowner to cut any overhanging vegetation back to the boundary line of your property.

    Many Thanks For your enquiry.
