Blocked Drains, no run off of rain water causing flooding, making paths un usable.

Reported in the Drainage category anonymously at 10:37, Wednesday 14 August 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later

When it rains the bottom of Boham's Road turns in to a fast flowing stream due to the run off from the Downs. The drains can't cope with the volume of water so London Road then becomes a stream of flowing water. I'm aware that walking along the London Road to access the Park, Savages, Cemetery etc is impossible by foot due to the huge spray from passing vehicles. Savages is very busy especially with young families with buggies and the elderly, The path along the north and south side of the London Road outside of savages towards WestBrook Street becomes water logged and impassable. Firstly the drains need clearing but also the gutters need clearing. The fast flowing water doesn't even flow into the drains, it passes straight past. This has been an ongoing issue for some time and unfortunately is putting people off walking to Savages and the park and encouraging driving instead. ;(
