Multiple Potholes up the side of Church Lane

Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 14:27, Friday 9 August 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later

The right hand side of Church Lane is now covered in pot holes which need repairing. The lane is used not only for car access but also for the pedestrian movement to the church and beyond - so the potential when dark for personal injury is high should someone happen to walk on the road surface as the area has zero street lighting. Please assess the whole of church lane as it's condition is very poor in general and needs proper attention.

  • In addition to the numerous deep potholes, the road surface is now crumbling away - see photos taken today. Car wheels and tyres are getting damaged and if the poor condition of the road isn't attended to inevitably there will be an accident with members of the public getting hurt. Elderly people walk to church and schoolchildren will be attending harvest festival this week, both age groups are in danger of falling due to the condition of the road.
