Parking outside village shop and in the areas marked as doorway blocking line of site for cars coming out of Henfield View. This makes it incredibly dangerous and there have been quite a few near misses.

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 6 minutes later
The markings outside the shop need to be re done and the shop owner needs to be asked to remove his sandwich boards to avoid blocking line if sight

This problem was reported to you in November and December 2017 and still no action has been taken. There is no sight line because of inconsderate parking in this area and worn road markings. Also pedestrians are unable to use the footway. Please deal with this urgently as an accident is more than likely to happen.

This is a very dangerous road to pull out onto from Henfield View. Cars, lorries and vans parked at the Stores often obscure the view so one sometimes has to edge out slowly and take ones chances. Not ideal and I feel this is an accident waiting to happen.

Really dangerous pulling out of here - blindly inching forwards hoping timing is on your side. The parked cars make it blind and people speeding through the village make it especially dangerous.

I would like to add to the list of correspondents on this issue. I live on the lane and I've always assumed that it is only a matter of time before we have an accident when pulling out, so poor is the visibility at times.

I, too, would like to add to the list of correspondents on this issue. I have had a couple of 'near misses' turning right out of Henfield View when my sightline has been obstructed by vehicles visiting the shop have been parked too close to the corner

My letter to OCC received no action other than an unsatisfactory response via fix my street and the case changed to closed status. On advice from one of you staff I emailed again at the end of July but still I have had no response. I can see several other reports regarding this issue and ask yet again that you look into this matter with some urgency and have the courtesy to respond to questions asked. The residents will continue to try and obtain a line of communication as lives are put in danger here on a daily basis and I am still informed that it is a Highway matter.

Thank you for your report. Following a recent meeting with the Parish Council the linemarkings will be refreshed (with a small alteration) within the forthcoming linemarking programme within both the better weather and new financial year. Thank-you for bringing this to our attention.
