Undergrowth needs crown raising

Reported in the Trees category anonymously at 09:50, Friday 2 August 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later

I am reporting as clerk to the Parish Council. Residents of Latton Close have reported overgrown bushes being used by people either taking drugs or possibly dealing, and also being used as a toilet. Please could the crowns of these bushes be raised to prevent concealment. One bush is situated behind the bus stop at the entrance to Latton Close, the other is in the middle of the grassy triangle.

  • We have visited site and assessed the trees in their location. The overhanging trees are on land not deemed to be part of the publicly maintained highway by Oxfordshire County Council in our capacity as local highway authority. You are advised to contact Land Registry to determine who is responsible for the land on which the trees are growing and therefore, have the responsibility for the trees
