Potholes and warped road surface yet again!!

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 16:33, Wednesday 31 July 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later

Multiple pot holes and a warped road surface from A4130 turning over the bridge towards the power station on both sides of the road. This is a constant issue being reported every 3-4 months once it has been filled. Surely it would be cheaper and more effective to repair the road properly rather than just refilling the same hole.

  • Now 2 very large holes with bridge structure underneath fully visible on both sides of the road near the roundabout and the other churned up tarmac holes at the roundabout are increasing in size as well. Cars are having to give way to HGV's to avoid wheel and tyre damage. Will cause a cyclist or motorbike to fall with potential for serious injury as well.

  • They are of such a significant size now that they definitely are over the permitted 45mm depth! Someone walking down there will almost certainly get hit by a flying stone from the way the pothole is breaking apart
