Deep dip in footpath in Wilsham Road Abingdon. Just by the plane trees and entry to Margaret Brown Gardens
Reported in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 18:01, Fri 26 July 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later
Whilst not broken there is a large dip in the tarmac footpath just by the trees and entry to Margaret Brown Gardens by Wilsham Road entrance. After recent rain it was full of muddy water and with the tree so close impossible to by pass one had to get wet feet. In the winter there are periods when it never clears. Very awkward for disabled, difficults for buggys, young children and so on.

Dip in path by Margaret Brown Gardens retains rain water after rain causing a deep puddle difficult for pedestrian to avoid as adjacent to tree and brushwood round base of tree make it a narrow space. It is too much water and too tight a space to avoid, and it makes access to the gardens extermely dificult without walking in the rain water.

Still waiting for fix its just that leaves as water fill the dip in the tarmac wide enough that pdeistrians have no option but to leap accross or walk through. I'm 75 and option of leaping is not for me. Patch by post by steps has been fixed sure this dip can be too.

Still waiting. Heavy rain this week left us all puddle jumbing between second & third trees on Margaret Brown side of road just short of entry to same. Doesn't look much but it holds a lot of water & leaves.
