Re: Water ponding on newly surfaced footpath and vehicle access to properties:- "Magnolia", "Clearview" and two other properties in the row.
Location Barford Road junction with Golby Road Bloxham OX15 4GX
The developer of the Wellington Park Housing Development Bloxham Banbury, reconstructed this section of the existing footpath on the Barford Road, opposite the junction of Golby Road (OX15 4GX).
New concrete kerbs and edgings were laid. The footpath and vehicle crossovers to the above properties received a new tarmac surface and the carriageway a new tarmac surface during December 2017. Unfortunately this resulted in water ponding on the newly laid carriageway surface.
The contractor returned nearly a year later and removed the carriageway surface that was laid in December 2017 and resurfaced the carriageway. However, this then caused water to pond to both the left and the right of the footpath and the vehicle access to "Magnolia", "Clearview" and two other properties in the row.
