Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings

We have experienced some near misses in the last three months concerning the road outside our golf club that could have led to a serious car accident. Drivers using the road outside of the club, usually coming up the road towards the Wigginton crossroads, are overtaking at speed, or driving in the middle of the road, at the point at which our club users are turning out from our property (picture attached). We have two signs of our own telling drivers that there is a concealed entrance, but a bigger, more prominent highways sign would be beneficial. Can you let us know how to go about this, or can I ask if yo would consider a sign to help ease the problem?
Many thanks Matt Draper General Manager - THGC

Thank you for this enquiry - unfortunately there is no provision in the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions for the use of 'Concealed entrance' signage on the highway, however, other measures may be possible. A traffic officer will contact the golf club to discuss.
