Pot holes on road and pavements from 7 Orchard way and up the street
Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 10:16, Thu 18 July 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later
General state of the road and pavements are in desperate need of repair. The whole street actually needs a resurface but I feel the chances of that are slim. Pot holes on roads approx. sizes from 15cm wide to 100cm. Pavements have multiple trip hazards. My 70 yr old mother actually tripped on the one outside 9 Orchard way. It's also worth noting that Orchard Way has many elderly and disabled residents, so with all the trip hazards on the pavements, this really needs to be addressed ASAP before an accident occurs.
I have multiple pictures (all of different pot holes on both pavement and road) but as I can only attached three pictures at a time I will sending the rest in other reports.

Thank you for your enquiry. I have visited the site and assessed the problem that you have identified. Unfortunately it does not meet our current intervention criteria so I cannot arrange a repair. We will continue to monitor this during our routine inspections.

I'm sorry but your brush off answer is unacceptable. No one has visited the site as I have been in all day and seen no one in the area investigating the road. The pavements are riddled with trip hazards. As previously mentioned my 70 yr old mother tripped on one and could have seriously injured herself. Is this OK?
Why were the pot holes further down the road (which were no where near as bad) been repaired recently?

"On a carriageway, potholes may need attention if they are more than 40 millimetres in depth and/or 150 millimetres in width.
On a footway, potholes and trips may require attention if there is a tripping hazard of greater than 20mm."
As quoted from OCC website. The majority of potholes on Orchard Way all meet and exceed this criteria that you previously mentioned. Please could you fix the potholes.

Council said they looked at the pot holes within 3 hours of me reporting. Funny as I was in my front garden all day and not once saw anyone come to look at the pot holes riddled across both the pavements and road.
The council clearly lie and don’t give a ounce of care for heath and safety for the elderly, disabled and council tax payers that have to use the wrecked pavements and roads outside their homes. I expected nothing less from Oxfordshire County Council though.

Still open, via questionnaire -
As mentioned, I was in my front garden the whole day and know for a fact that no one visited the site to access the damaged pavements and roads.
I am most appalled by two things, first, the fact that Oxfordshire County Council have not one ounce of care for the health and safety of the elderly, disabled, and council/road tax residents that have to use the wrecked pavements and roads. Secondly the fact that the council have openly lied about visiting the site when clearly, as mentioned above, they never did and just tried to close this job ticket as quickly as possible.
I will be sending a formal complaint OCC directly about this.
