Car park still accessible

Reported anonymously at 11:22, Tuesday 16 July 2019

Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

There is a car park used by Oxford University and Oxford University Press off Walton Street (entrance is about half way down between Little Clarendon Street and Beaumont Street). Is this still going to be accessible?

Council ref: ENQ19838020

  • The yellow circle does not mark where the car park is.

    I have marked on the updated attached map with a red box where it is located. Around 30 cars park in here each day.

    Thank you.

  • Operatives will be on site to assist with access for residents to their frontages and driveways, and off road parking areas will be maintained where possible.
    There will be points in time when access will not be granted:
    • When heavy machinery is temporarily obstructing an entrance, and;
    • Immediately after the final tarmac surface has been laid to allow it to cure.

    Please speak to the gatemen on site or call the Highways Team on 01865 252956 if you have any further questions.
