Dip (?subsidence) in road
Reported in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 10:57, Tue 16 July 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later
This road junction was altered a few months ago due to the construction of new houses. It has subsequently been dug up by utility companies. The main road (B4009) has been left with an uneven surface which appears to be sinking further. This road is used by HGV's, and there is a loud 'thud' every time one drives over it. I have also noticed some vehicles swerving to avoid it, something which is likely to cause an accident as it is located at a complicated junction near a narrow bend

Dip on road causing noise disturbance. There is a large dip in the road just before the blind bend. This is a hazardous bit of road- busy, used by HGVS and farming vehicles operating heavy machinery or trailers. Every time any vehicle with a trailer attached uses this section of road there is a huge clanging thud. This unnecessarily loud clang and thud probably averages out at least every 8-10 minutes. We don’t live next to a road and not expect to hear noise but this dip is causing the most irritatingly lpud noise which seems totally avoidable. It disturbs our baby and causes us to grate our teeth every time! Please fix this problem
