The hedges are too high around the A34 roundabout a cyclist or pedestrians be able to cross effectively

Reported in the Grass and Hedges category anonymously at 08:45, Monday 15 July 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later

I have recently let my children start to cycle into Abingdon from Marcham and they have noted that the hedges when crossing at the junction coming off from the A34 at the roundabout the hedges are too high and they cannot see effectively to cross the road safely. This is a very busy route for cyclists and think this should be maintained regularly as it is extremely dangerous if people cannot see the oncoming traffic as it is coming so fast off the A34. I am strongly concerned about letting my children cycle in the near future due to this.
