New road markings not completed for wheelchair user and cycle markings

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 12:10, Thursday 11 July 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later

New road markings not completed for wheelchair user and cycle markings on Oxford Road. Thank you for doing the ones you did do, after 4 years of asking, they are excellent and help greatly in safety. However the markings on the layby for the cycle path - including the bicycle sign on the tarmac - to the A329 cycle pavement were left out, as were the dashed lines and triangles on the pavement of Oxford Road for the wheelchair user living on the opposite side to LWS on Oxford Road, to get to the leisure centre.

  • Council ref: ENQ19837737 July 11th 2019; the cycle path markings on the Oxford road have still not been completed, September 26th 2019, ..... I wrote to Arriva Bus Company as i was almost knocked off my bike recently. I cannot understand why so much of the job was done, and the last part was just left!
