Over hanging trees in lime clsoe

Back in May 2014, some 5 years ago now, I was in communication with you in regard to the lime trees that line Lime Grove in Chinnor, when some minor works were undertaken to cut back the over hanging branches . Since then the trees have received minimal attention and are so large now that they overpower the entire lane of Lime Grove. I know some of the trees have preservation orders on them and therefore felling or pollarding is not permitted but such work as crown reduction & lifting is permitted which is what is desperately required.

I live at 12 Lime Grove, Chinnor OX39 4PN and the 2 trees that are at the front of my property dominate my front garden in some much we have overhanging branches that cascade down and are at head height and are in the way. The trees require a comprehensive crown lift as do they all. I was told 5 years ago that this would be done but still we are waiting. Not only that we have this year been experiencing poor to nil internet and telephone connection. Having contacted BT I have been advised that this is due to tree branches catching on the telephone cables that come from the pole in the road. They have advised me that the branches will require clearing before they will assess whether the cables will need replacing. The gaul of it all is that BT may charge us for this. If this is the case then I will be seeking payment from yourselves for this as it is a result of your poor maintenance of the trees that has caused the problem. Please let me know who I should send the bill to for this?

Another problem is the only street light in Lime Grove situated between number 12 & 11 Lime Grove is so over shadowed by the trees .
