Drainage

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Despite the fact that you closed this case you never emptied the gully/catchpit that you dug several years ago and when it rains again the road will flood as it always does and the brand new sroad surface will be totally underminded and that will be an awful wast of our money.
Closed Gullies/catchpit continue to overflow Reported in the Drainage category by G.M. OVEY at 17:42, Thu 18 January 2018 (Hide your name?) Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later zoom zoom zoom This gully/catchpit has not been emptied. It has been reported to OCC several times. The amount of water the catchpit now holds it undermining the fence to our paddock as well as badly flooding the road whenever it rains - see photographs/

Thank you for reporting this issue. The gully issue/blockage will be included in our forthcoming gully cleansing programme. As there is a limited budget, we have to prioritise high flood risk areas. Sometimes it is the volume of water that falls, and our drains are unable to cope, but the water eventually disperses. We will continue to monitor this on our routine inspections. Regards
