Trees affecting road visibility

Reported in the Trees category anonymously at 14:27, Monday 8 July 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later

Lime trees lining the entrance to Madley Park from the A495 have low crowns which are overhanging the road and pavements. Concerns are being expressed to WODC about these, but according to our records they are not in WODC ownership, so likely OCC.

Council ref: ENQ19837381

  • We have visited site and assessed the trees in their location. The overhanging trees present are on land not deemed to be part of the publicly maintained highway by OCC in our capacity as local highway authority. The trees are on land that is likely to be maintainable by the Town Council and not by the County Council. They can be contacted at: 01993 704 379

    Many thanks for your enquiry.
