Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

On LHS if driving from Tadmarton towards the golf club on the top of bridge. Tricky to see until you hit it due to position on bridge.

Council ref: ENQ19836784

  • I was driving on this road towards the golf club on Saturday 13th July 8.10 am. A 4 x 4 with a trailer coming in the opposite direction on the brow of the hump/bridge. We passed each other just over the brow where the pot hole on the right is situated. The oncoming vehicle was trying to miss the pot holes on the left side and unfortunately due to the width of the road & that there is damage to both sides of the road I was forced over to the right & hit the large pot hole with such force I believe that my suspension, wheel & tyre may be severely damaged. The road here (like most of the Oxfordshire country roads I use) is very bad & dangerous. I would like to know if the council will pay for the inspection of my car & pay for any damage caused by this pot hole & when this road will be in a fit state for safe driving.
