Trees overhanging covering traffic lights on crossing

Reported in the Trees category anonymously at 09:49, Fri 28 June 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

The trees on curbridge road are overhanging and covering the traffic lights on the pedestrian crossing, as a car approaching from curbridge roundabout if the traffic lights are on red this is not visible to drivers and especially at nights, we have had 2 near misses when crossing where a driver has failed to see the red lights because they are covered by the trees when approaching also the traffic light on the opposite side of the crossing is not facing the road it looks like turned in slightly so again not clearly visible. these lights are very close to the school and the parking is already an issue there in the mornings so pedestrians cant be seen until the last minute.

  • Can I ask why this is closed the trees have so far not been cut back which means the traffic lights are still not visible on the approach?
