Dear Sir/Madam/To whom it may Concern
Can you please advise if there is any possibility that the residence on Oxlip Leyes, Bure Park could have a ‘Slow Down’ sign? We need to made motorists aware that they should reduce their speed as there are children playing in the small park or walking on the pavements.
Vehicles using this part of the road seem to use it as a speed track. It is only a matter of time before a serious accident will occur.
I look forward to your comments.
Many thanks for your help.

Thank you for your enquiry and we understand your concern regarding traffic speeds. Unfortunately there is no prescribed 'Slow down' traffic sign and a 'SLOW' marking on the road would not be appropriate or effective. There are prescribed signs for playgrounds and we would be happy to consider a proposal by the town council.
