Someone has crashed into the bus stop sign at the Ardington / Ardington Wick crossroads on the A417, completely flattening it. Happened sometime before 9am yesterday.
It's a miracle no one was stood there waiting for a bus at the time.
This bus stop, and the one the other side of the road are an accident waiting to happen.
How long before someone gets injured or killed? All for the sake of saving commuters 3 minutes of their journey time travelling from Wantage to Didcot (and vice versa).
Ditch these bus stops, and reinstate the buses through Ardington & Lockinge again.
One month on, and still nothing has been done other than to remove the damaged post. No attempt to clear up the debris from the car that hit the post was made either. Broken glass, wheel trim, etc still at scene of the accident. Disgraceful.

What provided link? There isn't one.
Nor is there a duplicate report that I can find.
Does the right hand know what the left hand is doing at OCC?
