Overgrowth causing problems along whole stretch of footway
Reported in the Grass category by Goring on Thames Parish Council at 09:30, Tue 25 June 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later
Information from a disgruntled resident - quoted as below:
"I have just run the gauntlet between Elvendon Road and the station. The foliage, particularly between the crossing and opposite Cedars Corner is lower than head height. Closer to the bridge the lower foliage forces the walker to walk very close to the road edge and it is impossible to pass without walking in the road. Furthermore, as I have reported in the past, the overhang opposite Milldown Avenue completely obscured the left had set of traffic lights. Please can you lean on whoever is responsible to cut back the foliage immediately and to maintain this area properly in the future".
