Cattle grid at Dragon Hill

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 16:32, Thursday 20 June 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

I have reported this several times as the cross members are loose and angled. The fixing nuts are missing or loose. There is a large gap between the top cross member and the road which is very dangerous for cyclists. Half the "pit" is full of silt so it would not prevent animals from crossing. I had the following reply today "Thank you for your report. Unfortunately it's not suitable for immediate repair. Closed" I don't understand why it is not suitable for immediate repair as it is in a unsatisfactory state and is only going to get worse. I do know that the National Trust are concerned and have reported this. How much worse does the cattle grid have to become before it is suitable for repair? It was first reported in September 2018!
