Collapsing Wall
Reported anonymously at 13:00, Wed 19 June 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and Vale of White Horse District Council 5 minutes later
Wall collapsing due to road vibration and vehicles parking This problem was previously reported with no action resulting and no direct communication from OCC. The problem was then marked by OCC as closed. It was reopened and has now been closed again. I am no reopening again. The problem is still getting worse. The wall at the end of our garden (27 Church Cottages, Tubney, OX13 5QJ) is in danger of collapse due to vehicles parking on the adjacent verge and heavy vehicles on the A420. We ask that someone from OCC at least contact us to discuss the problem before the wall collapses. It should be noted that if the wall does collapse there could be serious damage to the A420 and danger to its users, let alone potential personal injury to my family. I really don't think 4 years and much wasted time is reasonable to heva had no action whatsoever from OCC. Julian Mellor.
