Cars unable to see small children grass too high
Reported in the Grass category anonymously at 09:04, Wed 19 June 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later
Cars entering hilliat Fields Drayton are currently unable to see the road clearly at the t junction due to uncut grass outside no 2 and 2a (on the corner) this morning I almost witnessed a horrible collision with a car and child on a bike. This is a real concern and hazard as it’s in such a close proximity to the school in Drayton and is very busy with children walking and cycling to school and cars each morning and at 3pm. There is also a hidden fire hydrant in there somewhere the fire service would have no hope of seeing it at the moment, please can this be cut before a child gets hurt, I see this was also reported over two weeks ago

Still no action. Several phone calls to OCC, promises for someone to ring back, so far they have not. The receptionist must be fed up making excuses for her collegues. As you can see the mass of grass is over halfway up the waste bin, the longest tower above it. I got wet again putting the bins out! This grass is near a school and is higher than a child at the paved crossing point and so would mask them from a vehicle. If it was a small area I could mow it myself but it about 100 metres by 30 and triangular in shape. it needs serious kit, especially now it is so high.Noxious Common Ragwort is flourishing and as you may be aware this is poisonous to animals. I pay my council tax and get a poorer service than my neighbours. Why?

I reported the same issue last year and they didn't seem it to be dangerous. It's far worse this year
