Deep mud on Bridleway impassable by pedestrians Reported in the Drainage category anonymously at 11:34, Tue 30 January 2018
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
This footway along the north side of Carterton football club is used by military route marching (up to 30 men) and by running clubs (also up to 25-30 runners) and as a result due to poor drainage, mulched leaves and deep mud has made it impassable to normal pedestrians. Many disabled walkers who did use this path to reach Shilton no longer can. It needs to be leveled off by having gravel or other material laid. The old original stone base is almost covered by sludge/mud. I'm not sure who takes responsibility for this.
