Entire pavement blocked by building works
Reported in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 11:57, Tue 18 June 2019
Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later
For the last two days, work on the pavement on Margaret Road, outside 107 Windmill Road house (planning permission 18/01710/FUL) has completely blocked the North pavement. Pedestrians have to go into the road to get past, and there are no cones, ramps over curbs, etc. to make this easier and safer. This is very near Windmill Primary School, and one of the main routes for parents and children to/from the school (the Windmill Rd crossing is just round the corner). As a result, both yesterday and today, parents were struggling with pushchairs and small children were spilling out into the road while cars were driving past - with no separation between people & vehicles.

The pavement is still blocked today, and it's made even more difficult to pass as there are now vans parked on the pavement on *both* sides of the work.
