Massive pothole at the side of the road outside no11

Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 20:14, Friday 14 June 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

This pothole has been here for more than a year and is just getting bigger as cars use Glyn Avenue as a free car park, they park each side of the road and up on the grass leaving mud tracks in the grass. The whole road has potholes next to the grass verges as we have no kerb stones , when it rains mud rolls down from the grass verge making a mess in the road. This road is a disgrace with hedges and trees blocking the footpath , rubbish all over the place as well as the state of the road!

  • Thank you for your report. This is not a pothole but what was a verge where it has been eroded by vehicles. I am unable to repair because if I was to do so the damage would only occur again. I have requested this road be assessed for kerbing work which if successful should alleviate most of the issues with the verge damage along this road. This report is now closed.
