Overgrown brambles on footpath, Hawksworth Close, Grove

Reported in the Grass and Hedges category anonymously at 14:46, Friday 14 June 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later

The grass verge by the footpath alongside the end house on Hawksworth Close has been invaded by brambles which have grown to about 9 feet high. They are obstructing the footpath and damaging the fence of No 15 where there are very young children who are at risk injury from the invading brambles.

Could they please be removed after they have flowered so that the bees get a chance to collect nectar and pollinate other brambles?
