Please consider a new crossing

Reported in the Highway Schemes category anonymously at 12:50, Friday 14 June 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later

The distance between the crossings available on St. Giles is too great. Having helped a disabled person using a wheelchair the other day, we found it very difficult and laborious to get from one side of the street to the other. The refuge in the middle of the road is too small and hard to get to as traffic can be fast and busy. The pavements are very uneven and the cobblestones make it difficult to wheel on. Please consider the effort and frustration this causes - it can take up to 15 minutes to cross the street by the time we managed to go round to either Taylors on Woodstock road or the crossing at the top of Magdalene rd., on uneven, very busy pavements.
