Overhanging trees encroaching onto public footpaths.

The problem has been getting worse with each year. Now drooping at head level across footpath/pavement impinging on public access.

  • We have visited site and assessed the trees in their location. The overhanging trees present are on land not deemed to be part of the publicly maintained highway by OCC in our capacity as local highway authority. The trees are on land that is likely maintainable by the District Council and not by the County Council. They can be contacted at: 01993 861 000
