Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later
All of the drains at the bottom end of Church Street are blocked and silted up causing a flooding risk. From the drain on the road adjacent to Church Cottage and opposite number 65 - (lets call it drain number 1) round to the Alms Houses (numbers 2,3 & 4) are blocked with standing water at some. The drain on the corner where the kerb is constantly knocked out is also blocked. (drain number 2)

Thank you to the council who sent 3 men to unblock one drain. Sadly they didn’t clear all that had been reported blocked with silt and leaves even when it was pointed out to them. They had only been asked to unblock one, so one they did.

Following your questionnaire, I am reopening this report as only one drain was unblocked. I reported 5 silted up and blocked. “Thank you to the council who sent 3 men to unblock one drain. Sadly they didn’t clear all that had been reported blocked with silt and leaves even when it was pointed out to them. They had only been asked to unblock one, so one they did.”
