Unauthorised 'disabled' parking bay on road.

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 13:34, Thursday 13 June 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later

A seemingly unauthorised 'disabled' parking bay has appeared on Graham Road, Bicester outside number 21. I believe it's unauthorised due to the location: on the apex of a blind bend, so i hope no council has let this happen. It's dangerous and could cause serious obstruction. Given the size of the driveway this is next to it also appears to be completely unrequired. This appeared suddenly with no public notice given about 2 weeks ago.

  • On what grounds has this been approved?! The property has more than ample off street parking, and this bay has been located in a dangerous position, forcing vehicles onto the wrong side of the road at the apex of a blind bend! How is this possibly: a) required and b) safe?
